Centrify CloudTools are an integrated collection of free tools that enable organizations to dynamically apply Active Directory-based authentication and access control to Linux systems running within cloud hosting providers such as Amazon EC2 and the RightScale Cloud Management Platform.
Centrify CloudTools provide guidance to configure an enterprise-out approach that establishes Active Directory as the center of trust between enterprise and cloud servers, whether private or hosted, to make them as secure and compliant as those in an on-premise data center.
To get started:
- You can launch your own Cloud Servers and install Centrify Express
- or launch one of the pre-configured Amazon AMIs that we've published to the AMI Community (just search for Centrify under Community AMIs and read our Quick Start Guide )
- or if you want to automate the configuration of your own Cloud Servers you might want to check out RightScale's Server Template architecture and use the Centrify RightScripts to automate the installation, join and configuration of Centrify Suite Express.
