Centrify will perform scheduled maintenance on March 7th to upgrade the Centrify Identity Service to version 15.2.

 

Where can I see the service status?

 

Centrify Trust contains information about the scheduled maintenance & status and allows Administrators to subscribe and receive status alerts for regular maintenance and service status.

 

Centrify recommends all customers to subscribe to Centrify Trust to receive real time information on alerts, Service Maintenance and incidents.

  • Improved end-user interface for app configuration within the Centrify User Portal
  • Centrify for Office 365 app now displays detailed federated domain details

  • App Gateway performance improvements and ability for easy swap of generated A-records
  • New apps added to the catalog including MangoApps, BrightSpace Community and Minha Claro
  • Simplified cloud connector configuration

Notice of end of life support for 32-bit cloud connector service and non-server class Windows OS

 

Links to download the 32-bit cloud connector package are no longer available. 32-bit cloud connectors currently in use will no longer be updated or maintained. Centrify recommends updating the cloud connector to the 64-bit version to receive ongoing updates.

 

Note: The minimum supported cloud connector version is 13.11.

  • New branding – Centrify User Suite has been renamed as the Centrify Identity Service
  • New licensing features for Office 365 – administrators can select individual license components when provisioning users
  • New apps have been added to the Centrify App Catalog including Yammer (now supporting SAML + User Provisioning)
  • Additional apps added include Mimecast, GitHub, FluidSurveys, Apptio and Bullseye Performance Management
  • New application policy restrictions – policy options to “Block by AD Groups” and “Block by Role” have been added
  • Context-aware application policy scripts – policy options will appear only for apps that support the restrictions specified within the script. The Office 365 app can block use of ActiveSync while the same policy restriction would not be available for another app such as Dropbox
  • New registration links available for Username/Password apps – administrators can now include a registration link for Username/Password apps
  • Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) negotiation is now supported using HTTPS
  • Additional mobile device management rights have been added to limit users that can perform destructive actions such as resetting a device to factory defaults by performing a device wipe
  • Support for Microsoft Certification Authority use with Cloud-based policies – administrators can now use certificates created by a Microsoft Active Directory Certification Authority Server for use with Centrify cloud-based policies
  • Primary device support – users can now specify a primary device where notifications are sent when multiple devices have been enrolled. The first enrolled device is set to primary by default but can be changed at any time within the Centrify User Portal
  • Auto-update of the Centirfy mobile app now supported when used as the default launcher for kiosk mode
  • New auto-update time policy option for Centrify mobile app - administrators can specify the auto update time when the Centrify mobile app should check for updates
  • Multi-factor Authentication prompts now delivered as notification requests – end-users can accept MFA notifications directly from the lock screen of a device

Links to download the 32-bit cloud connector package are no longer available. 32-bit connectors currently in use can be updated to 15.1 using the auto-update feature only and will no longer be updated or maintained after the 15.1 release.

Notice of end of life support for 32-bit Cloud Proxy service and non-server class Windows OS

 

  • Links to download the 32-bit Cloud Proxy server package will not be available in Centrify User Suite release 14.10. Existing 32-bit proxies can be updated to 14.10 (and later, 15.1) using the auto-update feature.  
  • With the 15.2 release, 32-bit proxies will no longer be updated or maintained.
