1.) Log in to Splunk Cloud, using an administrative credential. Open Access Controls from the settings menu:
2.) Select SAML for External authentiation and configure Splunk to use SAML.
3.) Select SAML Configuration in upper right hand corner.
4.) Select Download File next to SP Metadata File.
5.) Sign in to Centrify Identity Service as an administrative user. Go to the Administration console and add a SAML application. Import the SP metadata from Splunk Cloud on the Application Settings tab.
6.) Change the Description on the Description tab.
7.) Make sure that userpriniciple is selected on the Account Mapping tab.
8.) Modify the Advanced tab to include the following attributes:
9.) Dowload the IDP metadata from the Application Settings after saving. Open this file in a text editor and add the following snipit use=signing in the <KeyDescriptor> tag.
10.) Import the IDP metadata into the Splunk Administrative console.
11.) Add role mappings using Splunk Administrative console.
12.) Now, using Centrify Identity Service, you should be able to select the newly configured Splunk Cloud app.
