I recently had a customer ask me if Centrify Server Suite could prevent the use of SSH keys in their network. The answer is yes, CSS has a way to do this via a Group Policy. The Centrify GP is called “Add sshd_config properties” and is located under Centrify Settings \SSH Settings\ . This GP allows you to add configuration parameters to the sshd configuration file, and the variable we want to modify is called “PubkeyAuthentication”, and we want to set this value to “no”. Please see the attached screen shot for a visual of this setting. Remember also that you’ll have to issue the command “adgpupdate” from the agent side to force it to immediately retrieve and apply group policies.
