phone number unknown on new device enrollment

When enrolling a new device, it enrolls successfully. However, the mobile number is unknown. As a result, I can't use Mobile Authenticator app or SMS. One time code works fine.
When enrolling, I'm not (currently) using Centrify for MDM.

This is expected behavior without configuring your policy to use the Centrify Identity Platform for MDM. This can be configured in the following location in your admin portal
Under Endpoint Policies > Device Management Settings, if the option for 'Use the Centrify Identity Platform for Mobile Device Management' was not defined or set to 'Yes', Centrify cloud will fetch device information, e.g. phone number which can be used for MFA (SMS and Mobile Auth in your use case) after enrollment.
Conversely, setting this policy to 'No' will disable MDM, and device information will not be fetched for the endpoint.
