MFA outlook

MFA outlook

When setting up Outlook for the first time, the MFA is requested, the centrify portal window appears and everything is OK.

1) When changing the user password will the MFA be requested again? Will the centrify portal appear for authentication?

2) The MFA request only appears to the user when on the first access, correct? Or at some point you will be prompted

Re: MFA outlook

When changing the user password will the MFA be requested again?

The behavior depends on the version of outlook.  Older versions will just challenge again for the password.  Newer versions may bring the user to the Centrify portal again.  If the cookie is expired, deleted or if the customer has behavioral analytics and a rule kicks-in, they will be challenged for MFA.

Will the centrify portal appear for authentication?

The behavior depends on the version of outlook.  Some versions just promot for the passord.  Newer versions will call the IDP, in that case, yes the portal will appear.

See the answer to the first question.

Or at some point you will be prompted.  See the answer to the first question.
