Using Centrify how do I update a shell (sh or ksh) profile for an AD account?

I need to add an alias command to an  AD account and I was looking to do so via the user's shell (sh or ksh) .profile to have this alias command be in effect for this one user-id that needs access to all 600+ unix/linux servers for a security/vulnerability scan.

Re: Using Centrify how do I update a shell (sh or ksh) profile for an AD account?

Hi,

Thank you for using Centrify!

With Centrify, the best way to accomplish this is by using Active Directory Group Policy.

For example, you could use the FileCopy GPO to copy the appropriate files to the required destination or you could use the Run Command GPO to run a set of commands that makes the appropriate modifications.

See the following documentation for additional details on the UNIX GPOs Centrify provides.

Hope this helps.
