CIS and CPS integration with Servicenow
08-31-2016 08:34 AM
As of this writing there are several integration points that Centrify offer for the Servicenow platform.
The first and foremost is the SSO experience a Servicenow user can have. This is accomplished by setting up a SAML app within the Centrify Identity platform, and can be used with Servicenow Fuji, Geneva and Helsinki versions. Provisioning works as well.
Then, there are 4 Centrify applications in the Servicenow store.
1. The first application is Centrify Password Reset. The store version is 1.0.6 and the app version is 1.0.6. It was released on January 12th, 2016 and supports up to Fuji Patch 07
2. The next application is Centrify Privileged Access Request. The store version is 1.0.0 and the app version is 1.0.4. This app was released to the Servicenow store on Jaunary 29th, 2016. It supports the Fuji release
3. The next application is Centrify Identity Service. The store version is 1.1.3 and the app version is 1.1.6. It was released on January 12th, 2016 and supports Fuji and Geneva
4. And the fourth application is Centrify App Access. The store version is 1.0.3 and the app version is 1.0.8. It was released on March 18th, 2016
As you can see, there are different releases for servicenow as well as the different applications Centrify offer in the Servicenow app store.
Product Management will be revising the releases and request certification in newer releases. We will notify the community as new releases are posted.
However, just because the application doesn't show up in the Servicenow store, or it shows not supporting specific versions of servicenow, Centrify can still be integarted to servicenow using what Servicenow calls an update set.
