Announcing Availability of Centrify Infrastructure Services 2017 Release 3
2 weeks ago
Centrify is pleased to announce Centrify Infrastructure Services 2017.3, an update to our industry-leading solution that makes implementing privileged access best practices simple with discreet services that secure both privilege and access across individual and shared accounts.
Enhancements to Centrify Infrastructure Services include official support for CoreOS, the distribution of Linux optimized for container technology such as Docker. We now support full Active Directory bridging in the base container, user authentication into containers as well as auditing and monitoring.
Additionally, our Windows agent (which works on both Windows Server and Windows 10/7), now includes self-service password reset for end users. This will be a very effective tool for IT departments struggling to keep down the number of costly help desk tickets.
Centrify Infrastructure Services 2017.3 delivers many usability and performance improvements, as well as new reports for delegation and multi-factor authentication (MFA) success/failure, additional PowerShell cmdlets for advanced monitoring, and customer-defined web server proxy support for MFA and role-based access control (RBAC) support for SELinux configurations on RHEL.
New platform support in this release includes: Amazon Linux AMI (latest version x86_64); CentOS 7.4 (x86_64); CoreOS (as mentioned above), Oracle Linux 7.4 (x86_64); Debian 9.2 (x86_64); Ubuntu 17.10 (x86_64); Fedora 27 (x86_64); Mac 10.13 (x86_64).
