How to test the RADIUS authentication feature of Centrify Identity Service (RADIUS Server)

You can use a freeware called NTRadPing 1.5 that can be found on Google. Download it and run it from your workstation or a computer that can talk to the Centrify Cloud Connector. It will send RADIUS requests to a RADIUS server (Cloud Connector) and show the reply message so you can check if everything is set up correctly at Centrify Identity Service.

 

  1. In your Cloud Manager Portal, set up RADIUS authentication in your policy, under Policies / <Policy name> / User Security Policies / RADIUS:

  1. Under Settings / Authentication / RADIUS Connections, add the NTRadPing workstation’s IP address as a RADIUS Client and click it to set the RADIUS Shared Key:

  1. Add all the info as in the picture below and click Send. You should see the reply from the RADIUS server (“Reply-Message=Choose one of the following to answer:…”):
